At a glance of the title, some may say that it is a paradox. Since life is so short, we shouldn't take our own sweet time but come to think of it, we really should take our time enjoying the most out of our lives.
What made me realise it even more was because there was an accident right my uni. It was really a tragic accident. 2 person was in the car and both are students. It was just like any other normal day. They went to Broga for lunch with the whole bunch of friends. Alas, the driver was speeding along the broad and straight when coming back to uni to commence studying for the exam. Little did he expect that he would not manage to drift through the almost 90 degrees corner just outside the uni.. Maybe he had done this numerous times but... Result was that the car skidded towards the divider, flipped and crashed. The passenger who was without the seatbelt flew out of the car and died on the spot. Both of the parties were to be blamed for this tragic incident.
My main point here is to state that life is so unpredictable. You cannnot see what is up ahead, unexpected things happen everyday. You might die the next minute.. Unexpected.. Unavoidable.. Thus, life is short..
Appreciate whatever you have now. Be it good or bad, happy or sad, angst or emo... I learn from ppl : 'Everything happen for its own reason. God made it happen so we can learn and see the lesson behind it.' Appreciate the ppl around you. They are there for a reason too. They are closest to you besides your family. The truest bunch will come to your aid in whatever circumstances. Treasure them. You won't know when you might lose them..
Forgive the ppl of what they have did wrong as you would want other ppl to forgive you as well. No one is perfect. Just a little compromisation and patience is needed.
So, take your time to enjoy every bits and pieces of your life.. Every single minute of life are the bitter sweet memories of the future..
Ps: The title is actually a quote from one of my uni friends.. The one who knows, will know.. Hahaha!
